Steel & MDF Construction: The wall-mount frame is made of heavy-gauge steel, while the shelf is made from 3/4" MDF (medium density fiberboard). The benefits of MDF include a much higher damping factor and superior rigidity over time.
Isolation Cones: To minimize resonances, the wall-mount turntable shelf is supported on - and therefore isolated from - the frame by three aluminum cones which are positioned to precisely discharge unwanted energies into the chassis and then, by design, into the ground.
Compatibility: Your turntable should measure less than 19.75" (w) x 16.125", and weigh no more than 100 lbs.
Mounting: The Solidsteel WS-5 wall-mount turntable shelf is designed to mounted on 16" studs. Mounting screws included.
