By using high-density steel, the record remains firmly on the turntable and mechanical resonance is suppressed. The tracking of the groove becomes more precise, improving the clarity and resolution of the reproduced sound.
As the product is repeatedly placed on and removed from the record, Nagaoka has thought about the design. To prevent the stabiliser from falling onto the record, a unique shape has been created. This weight features a deep recess on the side of the record. It has a universal design that allows all fingertips to be hooked and lifted without depending on muscle power.
The main body is cut with high precision with an NC machine tool and all parts, including the packaging, are made in Japan. The top is machined with a rough spin pattern, which provides gloss and prevents fingerprints.
