The Clearaudio Compass brings genuine high-end performance to a wider audience by offering a matched tonearm and cartridge.
At its core is a resonance-optimized chassis, a precision bearing, and a meticulously machined platter system. These are paired with Clearaudio’s new T1 tonearm—a compact evolution of the acclaimed Satisfy—and the purpose-built N1 moving-magnet cartridge. The result is performance that reaches far beyond the expectations of this category.
Every acoustically critical component is manufactured in Erlangen with Clearaudio’s signature commitment to durability, precision, and craftsmanship. Available in black or silver, the Compass features a minimalist, low-resonance design, steel-plate damping, height-adjustable decoupling feet, and a high-quality acrylic dustcover.
The bearing is a polished and tempered steel spindle in sintered-bronze bushing running on a Teflon thrust pad. The platter is a 20 mm acrylic main platter with CNC-machined aluminum sub-platter.
