STYLISHLY ELEGANT WIRELESS STEREO SPEAKERS

Italian-based Sonus faber brings their distinctive touch to wireless stereo speakers in the elegant Duetto. These speakers' wooden enclosures emulate the curves of a lute — a visually striking design that helps them achieve clear, balanced sound. Each speaker has 350 watts for its custom drivers, while the main speaker features connections for wireless and wired audio sources, including a turntable and TV.

But part of the beauty of these wireless speakers is how they work as a standalone streaming system. You can set them up in a matter of minutes. Then, settle back and listen to the natural sound Sonus faber is famous for.

CUSTOM DRIVERS AND AMPLIFICATION

These speakers use silk-dome tweeters that provide articulate, ear-pleasing highs. Each tweeter is powered by a built-in 100-watt Class AB amplifier tailored to the tweeter's needs. Curved concentric waveguides enhance an open, airy sound dispersion.

The paper-pulp cone woofers are each driven by a 250-watt Class D amplifier. These drivers also use Sonus faber's new organic basket, which has a deep, asymmetrical design that minimizes internal sound reflection and allows maximum driver excursion.

EASY STREAMING OPTIONS

Sonus faber has made connecting the Duetto to your home network one of the most user-friendly affairs I've come across in the network streaming world. You don't need to create a new account or download a new app. Just add it to your Wi-Fi network or use a wired Ethernet connection.

Then, you can use Spotify® Connect, TIDAL Connect, Apple AirPlay 2, and Chromecast built-in to stream your music to the speakers. It will also show up in your player list if you're using Roon. And Bluetooth users can get clear streaming music thanks to the Duetto's aptX-HD™ encoding.

VERSATILE CONNECTIONS

Despite its rather small, semi-concealed connection bank, the Duetto lets you connect a wide variety of sources. You can use its RCA input for connecting a turntable or flip the phono preamp off and use it for a CD, cassette deck, or other source with an RCA output.

You can also connect your digital sources and take advantage of this system's built-in high-performance ESS Sabre DAC. An optical digital input accommodates your favorite CD player. A USB port lets you plug in an external drive loaded with tunes. And for great sound from a compatible TV, use the HDMI eARC port and one of Sonus faber's fantastic powered subwoofers.

NATURAL CONSTRUCTION, NATURAL SOUND

The Duetto's lute-shaped, veneered wooden enclosures optimize acoustic performance by avoiding internal resonance caused by standing waves. Finely tuned curved ports exit the rear of the cabinets, where they integrate with amplification heat sinks and help deliver nimble, musical low frequencies.

The SENSO™ leather top on the primary speaker features user-friendly illuminated control of playback and sources. And Sonus faber provides a helpful left/right switch on the back of the primary speaker, so if your power outlet is on the left side of your two-channel setup, you can still get proper stereo sound.
