The Eversolo DAC-Z10 presents a substantial desktop component designed to serve as a hub for both digital and analog sources. Its brushed-aluminium chassis, large front-panel touch-screen and robust connection complement lend it a carefully engineered aesthetic.
Internally the Z10 uses a dual-mono architecture and precision R2R volume control rather than a simple digital attenuator. The design emphasises low noise, accurate time-domain performance, and channel separation.
On the connectivity front, the DAC-Z10 supports a wide array of digital inputs (USB-Audio, I²S/HDMI, AES/EBU, dual coaxial, dual optical, HDMI ARC/eARC) and can function as a full-featured analog preamplifier with balanced XLR and single-ended RCA outputs. A 6.35 mm headphone output with automatic impedance-detection and multiple gain settings make it suitable for serious headphone listening as well.
