    Using a high-specification 24-bit/192kHz DAC chip, it offers a powerful upgrade for all your digital sources, featuring two optical inputs, a co-axial digital input and an asynchronous USB Audio socket.

    Analog sources are catered for with balanced XLR inputs, RCA inputs and a front 3.5mm aux jack. The floating effect of the chassis, the brushed finish, and the easy-to-read front panel, all create an amplifier that’s beautiful and well engineered.

    DUAL MONO DESIGN

    Separate transformer taps for left and right channels, twin rectifiers and separate PSUs give dual mono operation of the left and right power amplifiers.

    TOROIDAL TRANSFORMER

    A centrally mounted audiophile grade oversize toroidal transformer, and extruded heatsinks allows a delivery of 2 x 80 Watts RMS into 8 Ohms. Into 4 Ohms, this increases to 2 x 120W.

    SUPERB SEPARATION

    The internal PCB layout is optimized for minimal left/right 'crosstalk' and to maximize the quality of stereo separation. By using symmetrical and separated circuit paths for the two channels, we ensure that it delivers stunning stereo separation and minimum cross-channel interference.

    TWO-INTO-ONE TRANSFORMER

    The amp utilizes two separate windings on the oversize toroidal transformer. This is like having two toroidal transformers wound onto one chassis, providing separate windings for each amplification module. If you get a huge transient in the right channel, it won’t unsettle what’s going on in the left. The output is stable and remains unflustered.

    DYNAMIC THERMAL TRACKING TRANSISTORS

    The transistors used come with an integrated Dynamic Thermal Tracking System. This provides a far more accurate reading of the real temperature of a transistor, and relays faster because it’s not a delayed heating effect.

    MUSICAL SUBWOOFER OUTPUT

    Because we want to ensure there’s no unnecessary high frequency noise affecting the subwoofer, we’ve put the output filter at 3KHz. This is high enough to prevent any phase shift associated with the low pass filter affecting what happens below 200Hz. The result is a phase linear subwoofer output signal which is clean and musical.

    REINVENTING THE SIGNAL PATH

    The amp has only 24 components in the signal path. The big difference is that there are now 500 support components as well. Their job is to guarantee those 24 key components are absolutely optimal all the time, regardless of mains fluctuations and other influences.

    HIGH RESOLUTION ASYNCHRONOUS USB

    In order to offer 24-bit 192kHz resolution via asynchronous USB we use a specialist XMOS device dedicated to the USB input. We’ve also written a custom driver to allow PC users to access the higher sample rates available in USB Audio 2 mode.

    BESPOKE BLUETOOTH

    We offer an optional BT100 audio receiver. To ensure that this does not interfere with other components in the amplifier, it’s isolated internally on the digital input board. We even include an extension cable which enables you get the best Bluetooth range.
