The HD 555s feature special internal surround reflectors that acoustically improve spatial imaging, so you'll enjoy better sound from your movie soundtracks. Sennheiser's "Eargonomic Acoustic Refinement" ("E.A.R.") system uses an advanced earcup design to deliver a more natural listening experience.

The soft velour open-ear design of the earcups let you listen for hours in comfort, even if you're wearing glasses. You also get a single-sided cord that's detachable, so you can easily untangle it. Plus, if the cord gets damaged you can simply replace it instead of having to buy a whole new pair of headphones.
