Wadia's new 151PowerDAC mini - Integrated Amplifier/DAC features both and on-board D to A converter as well as a stereo integrated amplifier rated at 50 watts per channel (4 ohm). It sports the same chassis dimension as the highly successful 170 iTransport. The 151PowerDAC mini incorporates two SPDIF digital coax inputs, one Toslink input and one USB input for easy connection with most computers and digital sources. The 151 PowerDac is a simplistic digital-to-analog converter with gain mated with a 50-watt integrated amplifier (4 ohms). The signal remains in the digital domain, untouched by gain stages which add distortion until converted to analog waveform.
Features Wadia's proprietary Digimaster up-sampling technology(24bit/384k), which provides a smooth analog sinewave at the output speaker connection terminals.
The PowerDAC mini is very musical offering three-dimentional imaging. The signal remains pure without digital hardness or grain.
