Bulit upon a soild Aluminum base, the new Benz-Micro Glider Series 2's moving coil cantilever assembly is free of body resonances and sports an open, free-floating (nude) design. The Glider Series 2 offers better definition and transparency from a lower moving mass coil with increased dynamics steming from a new rear pole piece. A higher output level is generated by increased magnet strength and size. More musical information is resolved with a new mirror-polished line contact styli. Enhanced tracking results from aerospace suspension technology with improved imaging resulting from a locking azimuth/suspension mechanism. Lastly, the Series 2 Glider offers greater signal conductivity, easier and more precise VTA adjustments and gold plating for lasting beauty!

As a result of the technical developments and achievements of the new Series 3 Cartridges, numerous improvements have trickled down throughout the line of Benz Cartridges. All models of Benz Cartridges now feature the new improved pole pieces featuring a machined insert for the damper O-ring resulting in greater mechanical linearity of the suspension. The Glider M2 now features the Fritz Geiger FG2 stylus precision bonded at the Benz factory to a 5.5mm solid boron cantilever.
