Sound quality sees typical Azur qualities coming to the fore. In terms of timing, accuracy and the sheer openness of sound, there's nothing at this price that can get even close to the 340C.

Considering this is the budget Azur CD player, Cambridge hasn't scrimped on socketry. With both an optical and coaxial digital output, the Azur 340C can easily be connected to a wide range of digital recorders. For an added touch, all the RCA phono sockets are gold-plated for the highest possible quality connection. This may be the cheapest Azur CD player, but just like its bigger brothers, the Azur 340C punches well above its weight.
